Community Boxing Gym
Hurley & Davies Ltd were commissioned through a technical assistance grant to support the development of a new community boxing gym for Fleur-de-Lis Amateur Boxing Club.
Our role was to provide expert professional advice and produce a comprehensive feasibility study, which has since been instrumental in helping the gym’s committee apply for funding from a range of grant providers.
Working closely with the committee, we helped shape the project brief, ensuring it aligned with the gym’s long-term vision and community goals. Following a detailed condition survey of the existing premises, we identified and assessed several development options. These were carefully evaluated against the project’s requirements, leading to the selection and refinement of a preferred solution.
We are now actively supporting the client in the next phase—securing funding to bring this exciting and much-needed community facility to life. The proposed gym aims to provide a safe, inclusive space for people of all ages to train, build confidence, and foster community spirit through sport.
