Hurley & Davies were proud to support the delivery of a highly specialised cytotoxic and aseptic pharmacy suite, one of the most complex and technically demanding healthcare environments to deliver. This project required the coordination of many contractors, engineers, cleanroom specialists, and pharmacy stakeholders, all working to technical and regulatory standards.
What set this project apart was the level of technical scrutiny and validation required. The development and coordination of Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and wider validation documentation, all essential for demonstrating compliance and ensuring the cleanroom environment would perform as required. We also worked closely with the pharmacy team to refine User Requirement Specifications (URS), ensuring every functional and operational need was captured, understood, and delivered.

Following a detailed six-month enabling and planning phase, we managed the programme throughout. Early-stage preparation was crucial in enabling the wider programme to progress efficiently and safely.
This project reflects the value of strong coordination, robust technical management, and collaborative problem-solving. We’re proud to deliver healthcare facilities that enhance patient safety, support high-quality pharmaceutical services, and provide long-term clinical resilience. Well done and thank you to all involved.
