Coleg Sir Gar

Hurley & Davies conducted a detailed condition survey of Coleg Sir Gar's five campuses in Carmarthenshire and developed a 10-year forward maintenance plan.
This project formed a key part of the College’s long-term strategy to ensure its estate remains fit for purpose, safe, and sustainable. By gaining a clear picture of the current condition of its buildings and infrastructure, the College aimed to make informed decisions about future investment, compliance, and operational efficiency.
We were commissioned by Coleg Sir Gar to undertake a detailed comprehensive condition survey of their five campuses in Carmarthenshire:
Graig, Llanelli
Pibwrlwyd, Carmarthen
Job’s Well, Carmarthen, home to Carmarthen School of Art
Ammanford
Gelli Aur, Llandeilo
Working closely with the College’s Estate team, we produced a 10-year forward maintenance plan. This plan was meticulously prioritised, and risk assessed to ensure that all campuses were maintained to the highest standards and that any potential issues were addressed proactively.
The successful completion of this project provided Coleg Sir Gar with a comprehensive understanding of the condition of their campuses and a well-structured maintenance plan. Our detailed survey and strategic planning enabled the College to effectively manage and maintain their facilities over the next decade.
