H&D were appointed to lead the design and project management for the construction of a specialist residential care home in Maesteg. This facility was designed to provide creative support for up to 16 adults with a variety of complex needs. Our role included managing the demolition works of the former care home and successfully overcoming numerous site constraints and statutory complexities.
We managed the tender process and the appointment of a local contractor to undertake the construction works. The project was completed in approximately 10 months. The result was a high-end, spacious, and homely environment for the residents.
The successful completion of this project provided a specialist residential care home that meets the needs of adults with complex requirements. Our comprehensive approach ensured that the facility was built to high standards. The facility also offers a comfortable and supportive environment for its residents.
